Project Description
Wix Headquarters in Tel Aviv is conceived as a layered, interconnected campus composed of overlapping building volumes, with terraces and roof spaces woven between them to create continuous horizontal and vertical connections. The spatial structure reflects the company’s high-tech culture, in which the workplace is designed as a self-contained environment that supports work, leisure, wellbeing, and daily life, allowing employees to move seamlessly between focused work, social interaction, and personal care within the same setting.

Design Intent
The project consists of a series of roof terraces, each with a clearly defined function set by the client, and with the ambition for every terrace to feel different in character, atmosphere, and materiality. Each was designed to be exciting, contemporary and visually bold in its own way. Unique structures and details, vibrant colour palettes, contemporary materials, planting, and furniture were used as primary design tools to give each terrace a distinct identity rather than a repeated template.
At the same time, the terraces had to work as part of a larger system. Circulation between multiple building entrances, integration with the concrete structure, rainfall management, and coordination with building services all shaped the final layouts. The design balances individuality and coherence, allowing each terrace to stand on its own while still reading as part of a continuous, layered campus environment.

Responsibilities
I was brought onto the project to rework and elevate the landscape concept for a series of roof terraces within the Wix Headquarters campus, following client dissatisfaction with an existing master plan developed by the practice. Working directly with the client over a year, I led the conceptual redesign of several key terraces, developing new spatial ideas and design narratives intended to meet the client’s demand for distinctive and highly experiential outdoor environments.
My involvement included close client-facing design management, working collaboratively with the client to iteratively develop landscape concepts, and carrying selected terraces through to full detailed design for tender.
